Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with mandibular fractures eligible for open reduction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients 60 years, patients who refused to give written consent to participate, patients with comminuted or infected fractures, and medically compromised patients
