Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. A post-caesarean section mother with a live-born baby who was not admitted to the Neonatal Care Unit 2. Mothers who had both emergency and elective caesarean section 3. A post-CS mother who gave birth in the facility 4. A post-CS mother who is mentally stable
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. A post-caesarean section mother with complications who did not need referral to the Intensive Care Unit 2. A post-CS mother who had HIV aids in a fourth stage 3. A post-CS mother who is diabetic 4. Post-CS mother who was severely anemic 5. Post-CS mother who reside within the region for easy follow up
