Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (=18 years old) with CKD stage 3 or 4, willing to participate in the TPE program, capable of completing knowledge, satisfaction, and quality-of-life assessments, either independently or with assistance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who did not attend all educational sessions. Withdrawal of consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome was the improvement in patient knowledge assessed at T1, compared to baseline (T0).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcomes of the study were as follows: - Retention of knowledge - Improvement in clinical and biological parameters - Enhancement of quality of life - Reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms
