Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age >18 years American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I–II Body mass index < 35 kg/ m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Coagulopathy, pregnancy. Infection in the knee joint or the back. Decompensated chronic hepatic or renal illnesses. Allergy to local anesthetic (LA) Prior surgery in the knee joint. Psychiatric disorder. Drug addiction.
