Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with type II diabetes mellitus above the age of 18 and who had regular follow-up, had a telephone and who can read and write were included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with severe illnesses who were unable to communicate appropriately were excluded from the study.
