Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Paralytic hip, either dislocated or subluxed due to any cause of paralysis, as CP, Meningocele (group 3), Sacral agenesis, and other syndromic causes of hip paralysis. Age between 5 and 15 years. Either an ambulant or a non-ambulant patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Paralytic hip with damaged epiphyseal plate due to infection or other causes. Age younger than 5 years and older than 15 years. Guardians refusing surgery.

MeasureTime frame
measurement of the time spent in surgery, bone union, and the amount of blood loss and measurement of radiographic indices as neck shaft angle, acetabular index, and Reimers’ migration index

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
observing the complications of the conventional double-angled blade plate 90? and a new double-angled blade plate 90? as Failure of lag screw, Wrong direction of the blade, Prominent plate with infection and metal exposure, Delayed unions, Edema of the genitalia, and Avascular necrosis
