Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Thirty stroke patients from both genders 2. Age ranges from 50 to 65 years. 3. Sufficient cognitive abilities. 4. Presence of planter flexion position or inversion of the foot. 5. Duration of stroke ranging from 6 months to 2 years. 6. The grade of spasticity in the lower limb muscles ranges from 1+ to 2 on modified Ashworth scale. 7. The patient is able to walk independently for 10 meters. 8. The body mass index is under 30. 9. Patients have a minimum of 10 degrees dorsiflexion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1- Musculoskeletal conditions like severe arthritis, knee surgical procedure, a total hip arthroplasty, lower extremity fractures within the last 6 months or contractures due to fixed deformity as well as leg length discrepancy. 2. Patients who can’t walk even with a walking aid. 3. Unstable medical conditions (such as unstable angina, a myocardial infarction) 4. Problems with hearing, vision, as well as talking, 5. Patients with psychiatric disorders or seizures.
