Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All consenting Pregnant women booked for scheduled and elective caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Those that develop intraoperative complications. 2. Those with an allergy to MgSO4, opioids, Paracetamol or diclofenac. 3. Women on treatment with calcium channel blockers or MgSO4 for other clinical indications. 4. Those with compromised renal, respiratory function or hepatic function 5. Patients going for category 1 and 2 caesarean Section 6. Those that are of American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Classification (ASA) IV 7. Those who did not consent to participate in the study.
