Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Adult patients aged 18 years or older who presented to the Urology Department with - single ureteral stone less than 1cm in size. - located in the distal ureter. - Ability to provide informed consent and comply with study requirement.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1-Patients with active urinary tract infection. 2- Severe refractory pain. 3-Severe hydronephrosis according to onen classification . 4- Acute or chronic renal failure. 5-Multiple ureteral stones. 6- Bilateral ureteral calculus. 7- Single functioning kidney. 8- Any history of ureteral surgery or procedure. 9- Urinary tract anomalies. 10-Patients receiving concomitant treatment with alpha-blockers calcium channel blockers, nitrates, steroids, or PDE5. 11- Pregnant or Lactating mother or Uncontrolled hypertension. 12- Patients who demanded urgent stone removal were also not included.
