Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged between 50 and 75 years. Registered to participate in the Hajj 2025 pilgrimage. Provided written informed consent prior to enrollment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of an active inflammatory joint disease. Lower limb prosthesis. Medical contraindication to prolonged walking Cognitive or psychiatric disorder that may interfere with participation or adherence to the study protocol.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in the average global pain in the lower limbs and lumbar spine, measured using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Use of analgesics (frequency and type) during the pilgrimage. ;Quality of life, assessed by the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire
