Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -) All booked pregnant women scheduled for elective CS at term under spinal anesthesia. -) Patients who were informed, counselled and have consented to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -) Pre-operatively diagnosed significant bacteriuria or UTIs. -) Patients that declined consent to participate. -) Patients with severe preeclampsia and eclampsia. -) Patients with 3 or more previous scars. -) Patients with previous intraoperative bladder injuries. -) Patients with previous post-operative burst abdomen -) Patients with previous post-operative wound infection. -) Patients with other medical conditions such as cardiac, renal or liver disease requiring strict post operative monitoring of urine.
