Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients 18 years of age and above. 2. Participant diagnosed with Stages III to IV periodontitis according to the staging and grading of periodontitis. 3. Subjects must have willingly and voluntarily signed the informed consent form. 4. Subjects with good systemic health (ASA I/ II)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with any systemic disease/condition such as (diabetes mellitus, Pregnancy, leukemia) that affects or modifies the periodontium. 2. Patients on medications such as calcium channel blockers, immunosuppressants, steroids that interfere with gingival tissue and healing of the periodontium in the preceding 6 months. 3. Patient with clotting or hematological disorders such as thrombocytopenia which may affect the quality of platelet to be extracted. 4. Current smokers; will be excluded through history taking. Following smoking cessation, participate that have not smoke tobacco for a minimum of 12 months will be included in the study. 5. Patients on antibiotic therapy in the preceding 3 months.
