Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: male or female adult patients (aged 20 years or older) identified using the Neuropathic Pain Grading System as having either probable or definite neuropathic pain Pain involving the upper limb for 6 months or longer, moderate to severe pain according to visual analog scale (VAS) (scale > 45mm) inadequate pain improvement even after taking medications for neuropathic pain.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: pregnant patients incapable of filling out the written questionnaires or had a history of dementia, severe aphasia, major psychiatric disorder, epilepsy, complete paralysis of upper limbs. Conditions that preclude rTMS use (e.g. cardiac pacemaker implant)
