Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age: non-pregnant women aged 18-49 years. Service Utilization: Women who utilize child health services in the health facilities. Location: Participants must be from the selected provinces of Limpopo, Northwest, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, and Western Cape. Setting: Participants will be selected from both rural and urban health facilities. Health Status: Presumably healthy women, with or without existing non-communicable diseases Willingness to Participate: Participants must provide informed consent to be part of the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age: Women under 18 or over 49 years. Health Status: Women with severe acute illnesses or conditions that could interfere with participation. Pregnancy: Pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant during the study period. Chronic Conditions: Women with chronic conditions unrelated to non-communicable diseases (NCD) that could confound the study results. Medication Use: Women currently on medications that significantly alter dietary intake or metabolism, unrelated to NCD management. Non-Compliance: Women with a history of non-compliance in previous studies or those unlikely to adhere to study protocols. Location: Women not residing in the selected provinces of Limpopo, Northwest, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, and Western Cape.
