Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 3 to 12 years Diagnosed with divergence excess type intermittent exotropia Distance-near deviation difference =10 prism diopters Achieved surgical alignment within ±10 prism diopters within the first postoperative week Willingness to adhere to follow-up schedule Informed consent obtained from parent or legal guardian
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of prior strabismus or ocular surgery Presence of constant exotropia, vertical deviations, or oblique dysfunctions Amblyopia (=2-line interocular difference in best corrected visual acuity) Neurological or developmental disorders Incomplete preoperative data or expected poor compliance with follow-up
