Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Eligible patients with symptomatic uterine fibroid size > 14 weeks scheduled for abdominal myomectomy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous myomectomy or abdominopelvic surgeries. 2. Patients with fibroid size < 14 weeks. 3. History of hormone-therapy before the surgery. 4. Patients with chronic medical disorders such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, renal or thromboembolic disease. 5. Patients with recognized allergy to TXA. 6. Pregnant women. 7. Patients with history of malignancy.
