Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Patients presenting with failed primary restrictive bariatric procedure (VBG, LAGB, LSG, GCP). Criteria of failure were failure to achieve or maintain more than 50% of excess weight loss after the restrictive bariatric surgery over the study period or regain of 10% or more of the nadir weight in 1 year despite dietary counseling. • Adult patients (age 18-65 years). • Patients with BMI more than 35 kg/m2. • Being willing to sign an informed consent and comply with the evaluation and treatment schedules.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Patients with other procedure related complications as band erosion, ring erosion, postoperative leakage. • Patients with any endocrine abnormalities (e.g., hypothyroidism and Cushing’s syndrome). • Pregnant or lactating females. • Patients with major psychiatric illness, alcohol, or substance abuse. • Patients with any contraindications for abdominal insufflation, such as those with severe cardiovascular or severe restrictive respiratory diseases. • Patients with severe gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) grade B and C.
