Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients aged 21 -80 years old, both sexes with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical class from I to III scheduled for anterior chamber surgery with local anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients with significant cardiac disease (NYHA class III-IV). • Severe pulmonary disease. • Significant renal affection (GFR 1.6, Albumin < 2g/dL). • Neurological, neuromuscular, or psychiatric disorders. • Coagulopathy or patients on anticoagulation or antiplatelet medications. • Pregnancy. • Body mass index greater (BMI) than 35 kg/m2. • Refusal to participate in the study.

Assessment of degree of eye motility or weakness by Ocular Assessment Scoring System (OASS) , Satisfaction of the patient by Iowa Satisfaction with Anesthesia Scale (ISAS) & surgeon by Surgeon Satisfaction with Anesthesia Services ,Need for oral analgesic postoperatively.
