Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with chronic resistant constipation . Patients on maximum dose of laxatives for 3-6 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with alarm signs and symptoms associated with possible organic constipation such as celiac disease and thyroid disorders. Psychomotor retardation. Patients with medication history of drugs affecting bowel function such as opioids, anticholinergics and antipsychotics.
