Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm infants whose parent (s) give assent for participation, and with gestational age =32 weeks, weight = 1000 grams, in mild or moderate RD, and admitted to NICUs within six hours after birth will be included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: However, those newborns with congenital abnormalities, requiring immediate surgical intervention; with suspected neuromuscular abnormality, or with suspected cyanotic congenital cardiac disease or cardiac instability will be excluded from the study
