Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Players with at least a year experience of playing volleyball. Players with a history of actively participating in volleyball training for competitive or recreational matches. Players with no history of major injuries in the last six months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Players with recent surgical procedures. Players with ongoing musculoskeletal injuries. Players with neurological or cardiovascular disorders that might affect physical activity.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Jump performance – measured through the validated my jump 2 mobile app. This directly assesses the effectiveness of the warm-up protocols in enhancing explosive lower-limb power, that influences jumping performance, which is critical in volleyball.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Injury risk – evaluated through Limb Symmetry Index assessment and also through a sport readiness questionnaire. This helps determine whether the warm-up protocol contributes to reducing injury susceptibility.
