Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Subjects are from both genders (male and female). -Their ages range from 35 to 50 years. -Diagnosis will be confirmed by clinical and radiological assessment (MRI). -Patients will be referred from neurologist or neurosurgeon with diagnosis of subacute unilateral discogenic lower cervical radiculopathy (6-12 weeks). -Patients have a complaint of arm pain or numbness due to nerve root compression. -They were free from any severe psychological disorder, visual & hearing impairment, and advanced deformities of upper limbs. -They were medically fit to participate in the study (i.e. free from cancer and liver disease). -All subjects read and voluntarily signed an informed consent form prior to beginning any testing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Rapidly progressing neurological symptoms and inflammatory or other specific disorders of spine such as ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis. -Vertebral collapse, spondylolisthesis and cervical canal stenosis. -Previous spinal surgery and subjects with known pregnancy. -Red flags {History of significant trauma, cancer, constitutional symptoms (Fever, malaise, progressive weight loss), recent infection and unremitting pain}. -Individuals with history of cardiac disease or had pacemaker. -Individuals with uncontrolled psychiatric illness, dementia and severe depression.

MeasureTime frame
Handgrip muscle strength will be tested by CAMRY-EH101 electronic hand dynamometer ;Cervical (ROM) (flexion, extension, side bending Rt, side bending Lt, rotation RT and rotation Lt) will be measured by CROM device;Neck and arm pain will be measured using visual analogue scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Functional disability will be measured by neck disability index (NDI).;Lordotic curvature determined by calculating the Cobb angle between C2 and C7 on X-Ray
