Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients within the age range of 18 – 50 years. Patients that have consented to participate. Patients willing to comply with appointments. Patients with matured non-vital anterior (central incisors, lateral incisors and canines) teeth. Anterior teeth with periapical radiolucencies with well circumscribed unilateral radiolucency without sclerotic margins. Anterior teeth with periapical radiolucencies with or without caries. Anterior teeth that have not undergone root canal treatment. Anterior teeth that have not had previous surgical intervention. Anterior teeth with apical radiolucent lesions of periapical index (PAI) score of 4 and above. Anterior teeth with periapical radiolucent lesions of horizontal diameter = 5mm
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of uncontrolled diabetes Patients with history of uncontrolled hypertension Immunosuppressed patients Inaccessibility to the apical region due to pulpal calcification and pulp stones Dilacerated roots Patients with unrestorable teeth. Teeth with chronic periodontitis. Patients who used antibiotics in the last 2 weeks. Refusal to participate in the study.
