Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The mothers with preterm infants who have consented to participate in the study and who are admitted in the hospital ward during the study period were included in the study. Mothers who are in good health. Infant whose gestational age at birth is <37 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mothers with postpartum complications that inhibit their participation in the care of their preterm infants. Mothers with preterm infants who had a confirmed diagnosis of congenital anomalies. Mothers with infants who are known to be at risk for intraventricular hemorrhage were excluded from participating in this study.
