Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Postnatal women aged 18 to 30 years, within 6-35 weeks postpartum, and diagnosed with moderate depression using the PHQ-9 cut-off score of (>10) and above Currently attending the Maternal and Child Health clinic at the selected 2 public health facilities in Nairobi, and Zomba, Malawi.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Postnatal mothers with severe depressive symptoms (severe mental illness, psychosis, or suicidal ideation) will be excluded from the study and linked to the facility's mental health focal person for additional assessment and support.
