Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Delivery at >28 weeks - Vaginal delivery(including instrumental vaccume and forceps delivery) -Volunteering to participate in the study -CS delivery -Delivery tookplace at Abebech Gobena Hospital or Mennelik-II hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Placenta previa -Abruptio placenta -Morbidly adherent placenta -Uterine inversion -Minors with age less than or equal to 18 -Obstructed labor from health centers

Occurrence of primary post-partum hemorrhage , defined as blood loss = 500ml after vaginal delivery or =1000 ml after CS delivery or blood loss accompanied by signs or symptoms of hypovolemia or needing additional uteriortic agents to arrest bleeding as judged clinically by providers	—

Measure	Time frame
severe PPH(needing additional medical management of PPH, which doesn't respond to initial medical management ), additional surgical interventions(laparotomy) to arrest bleeding due to uterine atony , blood transfusion, ICU admission , or maternal death	—
