Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age <65 years Resident outside study catchment area Acutely unwell requiring hospital admission

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The proportion of older adults identified as having a deficit in one or more of the seven domains of function who receive appropriate on-the-spot care or complete appropriate referral to peer-to-peer community healthy ageing group support and/or a health facility for treatment. 4 months is post-intervention

MeasureTime frame
Diagnostic accuracy of screening tests for each of the seven domains of intrinsic capacity. 0 months is at baseline, pre-intervention;Prevalence of intrinsic capacity impairments, co-morbidities and multi-morbidity. 0 months is at baseline, pre-intervention;Yield of previously undiagnosed impairments/conditions. 0 months is at baseline, pre-intervention;Change in clinical outcomes, including health related quality of life and pain, and extent of intrinsic capacity impairments, overall, by domain of function and according to uptake of the intervention. 4 months is post-intervention;Process evaluation indicators including coverage, fidelity, acceptability, and intervention quality. 4 months is post-intervention;Costs analysis of the intervention and its components;Out-of-pocket expenditure attributable to taking up the intervention. 4 months is post-intervention
