Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants ages 12-18yrs attending the general outpatient clinic in the primary health care facilities 2. Clinicians assessed and diagnosed somatic symptom disorder, depression, and/or anxiety disorder among adolescents using DSM-5-TR 3. Those who will give written assent and consent from parent/guardian 4. Participants with active suicidal ideation with a plan and/or intent or recent attempt within a month’s duration. 5. Adolescents who are psychotropics naive 6. All health workers working at the selected facilities, who are eligible and willing to participate in the study after signing informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Adolescents diagnosed with any other mental illness including psychotic disorders, bipolar mood disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders, or substance use disorder. 2. Adolescents who have a severe medical or surgical condition, that will necessitate immediate medical intervention. 3. Those on psychotropic medication.

| Assessing the enhancement of adolescent functioning by monitoring their daily activities, relationships, and ability to concentrate. This will be done using the World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 (WHO DAS 2.0). Additionally, the acceptability and feasibility of the intervention will be evaluated through the use of interview guides designed by the researchers. | — |
