Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (18-60 years) of both sexes (male and female) with acute exacerbation of COPD or newly admitted COPD patients to the chest ICU were involved in the research. the minimal age is 18 and the maximum age is 60

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with bilateral hearing or visual impairments or cognitive impairments were excluded.
