Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Those who underwent Deloyers Procedure as a primary or backup procedure for management of chronic constipation 2- At least a one-year follow-up after the procedure or after the closure of the stoma, whichever was later

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Patients with absent recto-anal inhibitory reflex (RAIR) or histologic evidence of rectal wall aganglionosis 2- patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus 3- Patients on long-acting corticosteroids or immunosuppressive drugs 4- Severe intraoperative complications (e.g., intestinal injury, biliary injury, massive hemorrhage) that could impact the outcome of the procedure

Continence assessment using Wexner Incontinence Score ;Quality of Life assessment using the Patient Assessment of Constipation Quality of Life questionnaire ;Anorectal Manometry using high-resolution type, including mean resting pressure and maximum squeeze pressure ;Pain assessment using Visual Analogue Scale score;Stool consistency assessment using Bristol Stool Form Scale
