Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: non-reconstructible acute fracture cases in patients over sixty-five years, cooperative medically healthy patients, with neurovascular intact

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Fracture amenable to fixation, active infection, young patients, post-traumatic arthritis, neglected fractures (more than 10-weeks post-traumatic), neurovascular disorders, as brachial plexus injuries, axillary nerve injury, or upper motor neuron legion.

MeasureTime frame
Absolute and Modified Constant Score. Clinical evaluation Range of Motion (ROM): Measurement of shoulder abduction, flexion, and external rotation

Radiographic Assessment was based on anterior-posterior (AP) and lateral radiographs taken at follow-up. The radiographs obtained immediately were used as the template with which all sequential radiographs compared. The radiographs were evaluated for joint reduction, union and position of tuberosity osteosynthesis, and all complications.
