Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Prior diagnosis of RHD ? Any of the following atrial fibrillation single risk-enhancing criteria : ? Moderate or severe valvular heart disease ? Left atrial diameter > 40 mm ? Age > 50 years ? NYHA Class II or higher

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Known atrial fibrillation (AF) (paroxysmal, persistent or permanent) ? Planned hospitalisation in the next month ? Inability to provide informed consent ? No accessible telephone device ? Age < 16 years

Number of readable ECG rhythm strips captured during the 4 weeks of the home based ECG capture

MeasureTime frame
Number of participants completing the screening period;Atrial fibrillation detected in the ECG rhythm strips;Participant-reported ease of use, assessed by the Participant-level questionnaire. Qualitative analysis ;Participant and HCW-reported satisfaction, perceived burden, and usefulness, assessed by the Participant- and HCW-level questionnaires. Qualitative analysis;Participant and HCW-reported likelihood of recommending the device in clinical practice, assessed by questionnaires and semi-structured interviews.
