Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: o Male or female contact of a newly confirmed SUVD index case o At least 6 years of age or older at the time of randomisation. o Capable of giving signed informed consent/assent/have parent(s)/legal guardian capable of giving signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • History of SUVD (self-reported or laboratory confirmed). • History of administration of other experimental treatments in the last 28 days. • History of anaphylaxis from a vaccine or component of a vaccine • Serious bed-confining illness requiring hospitalization at the time of vaccination.

| Probable SUVD deaths Any person who died suddenly, or with "suspected SUVD" and had a recent epidemiological link to a confirmed case but was not tested and did not have laboratory confirmation of the disease. Suspected SUVD Any person who had sudden onset of a high fever and had had recent contact with a probable or confirmed case of Sudan ebolavirus disease (SUVD) or a dead or sick animal OR any person with sudden onset of high fever and at least three of the following symptoms: headache, vomiting, anorexia/loss of appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, stomach pain, aching, muscles or joints, difficulty swallowing, breathing difficulties, or hiccups; OR any person with unexplained bleeding. | — |
