Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: For the houses: (1) a residential building made with mud blocks or wattle-and-daub walls with at least one permanent resident aged 18 years or older and (2) informed consent signed by at least one adult participant For the participants: (1) Living in the study area during the time of intervention and not changing residence by April 2026; (2) Not having plan to leave temporary the dwelling unit for more than a month and (3) A signed informed consent form (if the person is under 18 years old, the consent should be provided by parents or legal guarantors).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: For the house: (1) a residential building with improved structures such as screened windows, and blocked eaves. For the participants: (1) Severe illness or severe chronic illness and (2) pregnancy at the time of baseline surveillance.
