Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18 years old and above undergoing Elective or emergency Caesarean section Under regional anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Peptic ulcer disease Severe Pre-eclampsia Renal and hepatic insufficiency History of pre-existing opioid dependence Allergic reaction to pentazocine, paracetamol or diclofenac Bleeding diathesis Intrauterine foetal death Patients who had Caesarean delivery under general anaesthesia Patients who developed intraoperative complication such as PPH
