Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Either sex Aged 21-60 ASA 1 or 2 Scheduled for elective surgery under spinal anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of consent. Known hypersensitivity or contraindications to study drugs or to spinal anesthesia. Preexisting pruritus due to local or systemic causes. Co-existing skin disorders. Patients on regular gabapentin.
