Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of this study is to determine the effect of the millet-soya drink spiced with ginger (Zim-So Mix) on prolactin levels in postpartum mothers. Prolactin is a hormone that plays a crucial role in milk production, and this outcome will help assess whether the drink influences hormonal levels associated with lactation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome is to determine the effect of the millet-soya drink spiced with ginger (Zim-So Mix) on breast milk volumes in postpartum mothers. This outcome aims to measure whether the drink has a direct impact on the amount of breast milk produced by mothers during the two-week intervention period.
