Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clusters will be included if there are no other menstrual health and hygiene interventions either by the government or non-government organizations in the area. Mother and adolescent daughter had to be living together at the time of the study, Girls should attain menarche; having had at least one menstrual period, Mother and the adolescents will able to give consent and assent respectively and The family is not planning to move out of the study area during the study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The mother will be excluded from the study if one of she encountered serious health problems that may interfere with her participation
