Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Myopic patients aged = 21 years with a spherical equivalent range between -1.50 to - 8.00 diopters and cylinders less than -2.00 diopters with stable refractive errors for at least one year. Patients should have pre-operative normal corneal topography.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with a history of previous ocular surgery 2) Patients with ocular surface disease, contact lens wear, ocular medications that affect tear secretion, or tear replacement therapy. 3) Patients with corneal dystrophy, keratoconus, or corneal scarring. 4) Posterior segment pathology (i.e. diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, etc.) 5) Patients with a history of systemic autoimmune disease.
