Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults over the age of 50 with chest wall herpetic eruptions lasting less than one week and receiving antiviral in 72 hours. Both male and female sex. Moderate to severe pain: Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) = 4

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to participate. Patients who were not receiving antivirals. Skin eruptions more than one week. Presence of infection at the site of injection. Mild pain. Patients with thrombocytopenia and coagulopathy with international normalized ratio (INR) >1.4. Chronic kidney disease (CKD). Chronic liver cell failure. Patients receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy or steroid therapy.
