Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Singleton term pregnancy, vertex presentation, cervical dilation of 1cm or more but less than 3cm , intact fetal membranes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women with previous uterine scar, suspected fetal macrosomia, intrapartum hemorrhage, non vertex presentation, ruptured membranes , multiple gestation
