Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: COPD with and without bronchiectasis. Spirometry: with a post-bronchodilator forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) ratio of below 0.7 or a diagnosis of emphysema on high-resolution computed tomography CT scanning and Pulmonary rehabilitation program started within 10 days following stabilization of acute exacerbation clinically and laboratory
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Cases with unstable cardiovascular conditions cases with mobility impairments that make safe exercise difficult Cases exhibiting significant psychiatric or cognitive deficits who could not safely follow basic instructions in a group environment Severe exercise-induced hypoxemia. Administration of oral steroids or antibiotics at the commencement of the program
