Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The study population will include only those pregnant women who will be seeking antenatal care services at the ANC units. Only those pregnant women who will have been confirmed to be pregnant through clinical assessment or medical records will be included. It will also be those who will have provided consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Women who may have terminated the pregnancy will be excluded from the study because they may already have biased attitude towards the healthcare system or they may have unique needs which may not be available at the clinic. Those women with certain high-risk pregnancies or other conditions that could have confounding effects on the results will also be excluded. Incase some women have language barriers or other communication issues that might hinder their participation or understanding of the study, those incapacitated, mentally impaired, or are unable to provide informed consent, such will be excluded. Those coming for a repeat visit during the data collection period and will have already been interviewed previously will be excluded. Finally, incase of conflict of interest, for example if a pregnant women happen to be a healthcare provider who has participated in the intervention as a trainee, such a woman will be excluded from the study.
