Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age from 19 to 40 years. 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status II parturients. 3. Patients undergoing spinal anesthesia for elective cesarean section. 4. Full term, singleton pregnancies.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient's refusal. 2. Coagulopathy. 3. Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. 4. Hypersensitivity to any drug used in the study. 5. Diabetic, cardiac, hepatic or renal patient. 6. Infection or anomalies at site of injection. 7. BMI >35, body weight =60 kg. 8. Known fetal abnormalities. 9. Emergency surgeries. 10. History of recent opioid exposure.
