Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age = 18 years Diagnosed with COPD GOLD 2023 :” Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common, preventable and treatable disease that is characterized by persistent respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation that is due to airway and/or alveolar abnormalities usually caused by significant exposure to noxious particles or gases and influenced by host factors including abnormal lung development” Presenting with COPD exacerbation Patients who can perform the measurement of FEV1.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Hemodynamically instability (systolic blood pressure = 90mmHg) - Altered mental status. - Non-invasive mechanical ventilation or intubation at the time of recruitment - More than 6 liters of oxygen at the time of recruitment - Heart failure exacerbation - Hypokalemia - Hypersensitivity to furosemide - Patients that the final diagnosis is not COPD based on specific investigated at one month
