Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged from 6 months to 8 years ASA I and ASA II Scheduled for unilateral developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known local anesthetic drug allergy Skin lesions or wounds at the site of proposed needle insertion Bleeding disorders with INR > 1.5 and/or platelets < 100,000/mm3 Refusal of participation by parents Bilateral DDH repair in the same session
