Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: pregnant women with 1. chronic hypertension 2. chronic hypertension with superimposed preeclampsia 3.preeclampsia 4. pregnancy induced hypertension 5. blood pressure greater than or equals 160/110 mmHg 6 . gestational age greater than 28weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. all cases of secondary hypertension 2. non consenting pregnant women 3. patients 0n treatment with different regimen
