Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Diagnosis of stroke by a certified neurologist. • More than 50 years old at the beginning of the study. • Stroke happened in the last 1 to 6 months (sub-acute-stroke). • Being able to walk independently with or without a walking aid.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Uncontrolled cardiovascular pathology. • Lower limb fracture in the past 6 months. • Other neurological conditions that might affect gait. • Impaired cognitive function evident by a score equal to or lower than six in Appreviated mental test score.

MeasureTime frame
Limits of stability and double limb support balance stability index will be assessed by Biodex Balance system 2 which will be used as the assessment tool for this study. It’s composed of a platform with a screen which could be used to give feedback for patients upon balance and stability. ;Gait Parameters by Biodex Gait Trainer 2 for assessment of weight asymmetry on affected and less affected limbs ( Time on each foot)
