Perioperative nutriton optimization for radical cystectomy

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All adult patients scheduled for radical cystectomy and urinary diversion and declared fit with (ASA scores I, II, III) will be randomized into two groups. ? Group A: will have nutritional assessment and support done by a professional qualified dedicated nutritionist (S.S.) within a period not exceeding 15 days preoperatively and 30 days post operatively. ? Group B: will follow the traditional pathway without nutritional support from a nutritionist.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: ? Patients who are unable to endure general anesthesia as well as those who have severe or improperly controlled co-morbid conditions and unfit for surgery (ASA scores IV, V). ? Uncorrectable bleeding diathesis. ? Evidence of gross, unresectable metastatic disease at time of diagnosis. ? Patients who are less than 18 years.
