Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Have no history of drug abuse • The first onset of unilateral stroke resulted in hemiplegia/paresis • post-stroke duration of at least 6 months • Male and female with ages ranging between 24 and 85 years • Not on antidepressant • Patients have good control of hypertension/diabetes (if any) • No visual and auditory deficit • Not participating in other research studies • Have not been hospitalized in a hospital bed at the time of the study • Ability to stand with or without support • Scoring at least 30/56 on the Berg Balance Scale • Scoring less than 21/23 on the Trunk Impairment Scale • Presently not receiving any therapeutic intervention

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Have recurrent stroke • Have fracture, • Have being amputated • Have ever received a non-invasive brain stimulation technique • Have been taking non-enzymatic antioxidant supplements • Diagnosed with stroke along with other neurological diseases affecting balance i.e. Parkinson’s disease, Vestibular lesion, and multiple sclerosis
